Engineering Consultants Limited (ECL) is one of Sri Lanka’s leading multi-disciplinary consulting companies,
established in 1968 as a partnership and incorporated in 1977 as a private limited liability company.
The company has successfully completed several hundred projects as an individual consultant and in association
or as joint venture partner with renowned Japanese, European, US and Australian companies.

ECL is a member of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC),
The Association of Consulting Engineers Sri Lanka (ACESL), and the Ceylon Chamber of
Commerce and is a listed practice in the Royal Institute of British Architects.

ECL currently employs around 350 personnel including engineers, architects,
Quantity Surveyors, technical support and administrative staff. The company
is organized into two business units, viz. Infrastructure Division and
Architectural Division.
